I designed and built a new WordPress site for La Porte Peinte Centre pour les Arts, an arts residency in Noyers, France. The site supports three languages (French, English and Japanese) via the WPML translation plugin, enabling the international community of artists, curators and supporters to engage seamlessly.
The layout emphasizes clarity and ease of navigation while preserving the charm of the residency’s historic setting. Program descriptions, artist calls, and archival exhibition pages are grouped logically and given visual consistency across languages. A muted palette, generous white space and refined typography reflect the quiet contemplative pace of the residency experience.
