I designed and built a new WordPress site for author and curator Jacquelynn Baas to showcase her Awake Art projects. The site highlights her work at the intersection of Buddhism and contemporary art, featuring essays, resources, and events in a clean, accessible layout.
To make the site easy for the client to update, I created custom post types and fields so new publications and essays can be added seamlessly—each entry automatically fits within the established design. The project also includes a table of contents feature on her extensive CV page, allowing visitors to jump to specific sections. I provided short tutorial videos for the areas the client can update herself, ensuring the site stays flexible and easy to maintain.
The minimalist design emphasizes clarity and accessibility, balancing elegant typography with a calm visual framework that reflects the project’s contemplative focus.
